Princeton String Quartet

Thank you for inquiring about the Princeton String Quartet and Princeton Musicians. We currently play at more than a hundred academic and corporate functions, weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs and other celebrations a year, and we are accepting more bookings. Our repertoire includes classical music, Strauss waltzes, Scott Joplin rags, Gershwin and show tunes as well ethnic music. We are happy to play background music for receptions, short concerts or music for light dancing. Live music helps ensure a spirited gathering, and a trio, the full quartet, a duo or solo pianist or violinist adds vivacity and charm.

Since 1980, we have played for royalty and parties for Nobel Prize laureates as well as the President's Reception, retirement and departmental parties, and the Waltz Ball at the Graduate College at Princeton University. We have presented a series of lunch time concerts for Squibb as well as events at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, Chubb Insurance in Manhattan, Merrill Lynch, and numerous weddings and private functions.

Our musicians include Juilliard graduates and finalists for the New York Philharmonic. All are superb musicians, devoted to their art, and to the pleasure of sharing music with others.

We encourage you to telephone us or send us e-mail at psq@princetonstringquartet.com. Please use telephone at 732-433-6422 rather than e-mail to contact the Princeton String Quartet. Telephone is a two-way method to discuss the music you desire and to exchange information. If no-one answers immediately, please be sure to leave your phone number on the tape (or in any e-mail that you send). Thank you!

Thank you to all members of the Princeton String Quartet for making the Cerrone/Srioin wedding on June 2 a day to remember. The music made the ceremony and cocktail hour an elegant and memorable part of the day!
